WHAT’S IN THE KITCHEN?? Sharing meals at our house is always a festive occasion. We provide a variety of COOKING SUPPLIES to help you create just about any breakfast, lunch or dinner menu. To help plan your time in the kitchen, we have taken care to stock it not only with most tools you'll need, but with various staple goods to make life a little easier.

Several times I've tried to plan a weekend away and found myself asking "I wonder what they have in the kitchen?" I hate dragging along tiny plastic containers with 2 T. baking powder it in for the muffins I plan to make or buying a whole package of coffee filters when my coffee maker at home doesn't even use them. Our cleaning staff will have most STANDARD STAPLE GOODS on hand. These are items such as toilet paper, foil, etc. Click on the link above to check out the list of items we keep on hand. To keep your packing list to a minimum, we are also happy to provide a few ADDITIONAL STAPLE GOODS. We personally try to check these every few weeks and have these items on hand as well.

In the event there is not quite enough of something in the cupboard or you forgot a key ingredient in that recipe, we'll have directions to the nearest grocery store, farm market, cheese store and liquor store in your welcome folder when you arrive.

And we haven’t forgotten about serving the meal itself. We’ve got a full supply of SERVING PIECES that will make for a great looking dinner table and should accommodate almost any menu you might plan.

SOUTH BEDROOM:
The South Bedroom has a queen size bed, including all linens, blankets, bedspreads and pillows. There is a nightstand with a lamp and an alarm clock and a dresser for your use. There is also a full clothes closet in this room where additional bedding for the house is stored. There is however plenty or room for you to hang you things and stash things away.

NORTH BEDROOM:
The North Bedroom has a queen size bed, including all linens, blankets, bedspreads and pillows. There is a nightstand with a lamp and an alarm clock for your use. There is also a clothes closet in this room where the washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are located.

THE GREAT ROOM:
The Great Room has a large couch and loveseat with ottoman and a couple of swivel chairs so you can kick back and relax. There is nice size coffee table and additional wooden TV trays available if you need them. The room features a Door County Stone Fireplace opposite a wall of windows facing out to the lake. We have a 25" Color TV, VCR/DVD Player, 5-disc CD player, Tuner and Speakers tucked neatly into the corner.

LOFT:
The Loft has 6 twin beds complete with linens, blankets, bedspreads and pillows. We've got a pleasant sitting area to spread out in - complete with three chairs, a side table and lamp. A pine chest filled with kids games, activities and books finishes out the area. With the view facing the lake, it makes a wonderful area to relax or a great place for the kids to just hang out. A ceiling fan overhead keeps things cool and pleasant. There are a couple of windows to open on the west side of the room and let the fresh air in plus extra big skylights to keep it bright and sunny.

BATHROOM:
We have one bathroom with sink, stool and large shower stall. It is very clean, well-lit with 4 electrical outlets and it's own baseboard heater. A window opens to allow the fresh air in.
